Hudson working on TV Christmas special
Jennifer Hudson will be performing all around Chicago and filming it for an ABC prime-time special, “Jennifer Hudson: I’ll Be Home for Christmas.”
An exact date and time are TBD, but the hour-long TV show will air in December as part of the holiday line-up for our viewing pleasure, along with “Frosty the Snowman,” “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,” and “It’s a Wonderful Life.”
Chicago is Hudson’s hometown and a source of good memories from childhood to the people and places who influenced her music and her career. These memories will be highlighted in her show. But the city is also haunted with the painful memories of the violent deaths of her mother, brother and nephew last year.
