Hudson makes hometown appearance

Jennifer Hudson gave her first hometown concert since the murder of her mother, brother and nephew in October 2008.

She sang the song “You Pulled Me Through” to relatives who had come to see her perform on Saturday night at a theater in Chicago’s McCormick Place, and four of her cousin’s joined her onstage.

Jennifer Hudson on Tour

During April and May, you can catch Jennifer Hudson on the road with fellow R&B singer Robin Thicke. She’s touring in support of her first studio release, Jennifer Hudson.

Fans can also register on Jennifer’s official website for the opportunity to win a “Meet & Greet” contest. By submitting a short essay, Hudson fans could get the chance to see Jennifer backstage before the show in select cities on the tour.
