Jennifer Hudson is no stranger to Sex and the City.
Though Hudson never appeared on the popular HBO series, which ran from 1998-2004, she portrayed Carrie Bradshaw’s assistant after the almost-wedding to Mr. Big in the 2008 movie. Now, in the 2010 movie, Hudson is rumored to be lending herself to the movie in a different way: her voice.
She and Leona Lewis, winner of the British X-Factor, have teamed up for the song that may to be used for the second SATC movie, according to London’s Sun, a British tabloid.
Lewis is no stranger to soundtracks. In fact, she was chosen to sing the “Avatar” theme song and her song “Happy” was used in the award-winning drama, “Precious.”

After the birth of her son last August, Jennifer Hudson has shed an amazing 60 pounds. Her new lean look was achieved in part by her participation in the Weight Watchers program.
When Jennifer first decided to try the program she said that she did not just want to go on a diet, she was looking for a lifestyle change.
Hudson, who was known for her fuller figure, wants women to know that the decision came from within, and not because of how beauty is viewed in Hollywood today. ”I was very comfortable with myself before. I have a child now and want to set a great example for him. Make better life choices, healthy choices, and just create a good example for him growing up.”
Jennifer’s success with the Weight Watchers program has opened up the opportunity for her to become a spokeswoman for the company. She wants to be able to reach out and to other woman and let them know that if you eat right, be consistent, and stay focus you can achieve your goals!

Jennifer Hudson will be performing all around Chicago and filming it for an ABC prime-time special, “Jennifer Hudson: I’ll Be Home for Christmas.”
An exact date and time are TBD, but the hour-long TV show will air in December as part of the holiday line-up for our viewing pleasure, along with “Frosty the Snowman,” “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,” and “It’s a Wonderful Life.”
Chicago is Hudson’s hometown and a source of good memories from childhood to the people and places who influenced her music and her career. These memories will be highlighted in her show. But the city is also haunted with the painful memories of the violent deaths of her mother, brother and nephew last year.

Jennifer Hudson rocked the house at this year’s Vh1 Divas show, which was televised on Sept. 17th from the Brooklyn Academy of Music Howard Gilman Opera House in Brooklyn, NY.
Fresh from a recent pregnancy, the singer and Academy-award winning actress showed she could hang with the other divas by performing a lively rendition of her hit single “Spotlight.” She appeared sexy and confident in an all black with black leather outfit, complete with stiletto heels.
Hudson was one of several young female artists singing at the show. Other memorable performances came from Adele, Miley Cyrus, and a duet between Leona Lewis and Cyndi Lauper. The show was hosted by Paula Abdul and can still be viewed online in its entirety through VH1’s website.

Jennifer Hudson gave her first hometown concert since the murder of her mother, brother and nephew in October 2008.
She sang the song “You Pulled Me Through” to relatives who had come to see her perform on Saturday night at a theater in Chicago’s McCormick Place, and four of her cousin’s joined her onstage.
